1. Lesson Duration

All standard driving lessons are 2 hours long unless otherwise agreed in advance.

2. Payments

At least one lesson payment must be made in advance to secure your booking.
All payments are made directly to your instructor.
The driving school is not responsible for any payments made to instructors.
Block bookings are non-refundable. In exceptional cases, refunds are handled solely by the instructor.

Lessons must be cancelled at least 24 hours before the start time.
If cancelled within less than 24 hours, full lesson charge will apply.
If the instructor arrives and you do not respond, they will wait 15 minutes before marking the lesson as cancelled and chargeable.

All block bookings must be used within 6 months from the purchase date or as mentioned in Package Details
A break longer than 3 weeks may result in any remaining lessons being forfeited.
Lessons cannot be transferred or sold to another person.

Instructors provide clean, roadworthy, dual-controlled vehicles.
Lessons will be refused or terminated if the pupil is under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
A 15-minute grace period is allowed for instructor delays due to traffic.

Lesson rates start from £35 per hour and may vary depending on area and instructor availability. Any changes will be communicated before booking.

You must be 17 or older (16 if disabled).
You must hold a valid UK provisional licence and present it before your first lesson.
You must inform your instructor of any health, licence, or condition changes.

Any payments made directly to an instructor are strictly between the student and the instructor. Longsight Driving School is not responsible or liable for any transactions made directly with instructors.
Payments made through our online booking system via Stripe include a 2% service charge, which is non-refundable under all circumstances.
All courses require full payment in advance before lessons begin. Payments can be made either Directly to Longsight Driving School, or Directly to the assigned instructor.
Payments for block bookings and other courses are refundable, subject to the deduction policy.
Payments for Pass Plus courses are non-refundable once the lessons have started.
If a student decides to cancel or opt out of a course and requests a refund, the following deductions will apply for the lessons already allocated or completed £35 per hour for regular courses and block bookings or £37 per hour for intensive courses and block bookings. The remaining balance, if any, will be refunded accordingly.
Payments made for car hire services are non-refundable.
All listed course prices apply only within Manchester. Prices may vary for other areas or postcodes outside Manchester.

The full amount paid for lessons is refundable only if no lessons have been taken.

A 2% service charge applied to online or card payments is non-refundable under all circumstances.
If a student starts any course, block booking, or package and decides to: leave the course, or change the instructor then the refund will be calculated after deducting lesson charges as stated above or the applicable hourly rate of the selected package
Any lesson cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled time will be charged and non refundable
