1. Lesson Duration
All standard driving lessons are 2 hours long unless otherwise agreed in advance.
2. Payments
- At least one lesson payment must be made in advance to secure your booking.
- All payments are made directly to your instructor.
- The driving school is not responsible for any payments made to instructors.
- Block bookings are non-refundable. In exceptional cases, refunds are handled solely by the instructor.
3. Instructor Status
- All instructors are self-employed and work under a franchise agreement.
- Your tuition contract exists solely between you and your instructor.
- The school holds no liability for instructor availability or payment disputes.
4. Cancellations & Attendance
- Lessons must be cancelled at least 24 hours before the start time.
- If cancelled within less than 24 hours, 1 hour charge will apply.
- If the instructor arrives and you do not respond, they will wait 15 minutes before marking the lesson as cancelled and chargeable.
5. Lesson Package Validity
- All block bookings must be used within 6 months from the purchase date.
- A break longer than 3 weeks may result in any remaining lessons being forfeited.
- Lessons cannot be transferred or sold to another person.
6. Vehicle & Safety
- Instructors provide clean, roadworthy, dual-controlled vehicles.
- Lessons will be refused or terminated if the pupil is under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- A 15-minute grace period is allowed for instructor delays due to traffic.
7. Driving Test Policy
- A test can only be booked with your instructor's full approval.
- Instructors may withdraw the car for a test if you are not test-ready.
- Test-day car hire fees vary and depend on instructor and test centre.
8. Lesson Pricing
Lesson rates start from £33 per hour and may vary depending on area and instructor availability. Any changes will be communicated before booking.
9. Student Requirements
- You must be 17 or older (16 if disabled).
- You must hold a valid UK provisional licence and present it before your first lesson.
- You must inform your instructor of any health, licence, or condition changes.
10. Liability
- The school is not liable for payments made directly to instructors.
- The school is not responsible for DVSA test cancellations.
- No compensation is provided for business or personal loss (e.g., missed work).
